City Ballers League is making strides in the Community of Brampton. In operation since 2014, owner and co-founders Prudence Griffiths and O’Neil Scarlette started the league in order to promote healthy activities for stagnant children.
This league is for the convenience of not only the children but the parents say’s Griffiths’. We offer class times that are conducive with the lifestyles of today’s busy parents. In addition, the league offers a great carpooling system to the local children of Brampton. The carpool service is complimentary and personally driven by Griffiths or her Partner Scarlette.
City Ballers’ competitive in price with other local leagues and is sponsored by many local companies and individuals who believe in the cause and believe in the healthy lifestyles that children should be living.
Some sponsors include Kangen Water, a new technology in water that brings it to its purest form through a natural filtration process and MMA that promotes equality in children and provides bully proofing classes to children of all ages.
Students looking for community services hours for school or those who just want to help their local community this summer can do just that with City Ballers. The league is always looking for volunteers of all ages. They have a game every Friday for the children to play against other local community run leagues.
In addition to the league that takes place on Tuesday and Friday evenings, City Ballers is in the process of setting up a camp for the local children. The camp which was set to begin this summer had a few setbacks due to finding an adequate and safe place for the children to put their basketball skills to the test.
The camp which is generally funded out of the pockets of the owners strives to be as convenient for the parents as it is for the children accepts kids age range from 5-18, and like the league the camp hopes to offer carpooling, accommodate late pick-ups and hosts a plethora of perks such as; weekly games, awards and special guest-speakers and dunking contests.
